Post by surovy115 »

Companies are constantly looking for professionals to join their teams or to hire external consulting, advisory, and specific project services. The space that leads these types of searches is undoubtedly LinkedIn.

LinkedIn is the most important network in Latin America for searching for professionals. In Argentina alone we already have 9 million professionals uploaded to this network, and in LATAM we have more than 100 million.

We can therefore say that we could find almost any professional on LinkedIn. However, it is not so easy for professionals to appear in the first results.

Being searchable on LinkedIn is not about the quality of your profile, but how you communicate it. It's about the way your profile is structured.

Excellent professionals, experts in their field, with extensive academic and professional experience, have their LinkedIn profiles completely abandoned, with zero strategy, with very little preparation and they may be missing out on huge opportunities to appear in the search results of this network.

One of the most important aspects to work on in order to appear in the first search results is the keywords to use in our Linkedin profile. Keywords are the main bridge to appear in search results.

Include keywords in your Linkedin profile

Very simple! By incorporating them as many times as possible in each of the titles, descriptions, images and even in the URL of your profile.

We recommend that you do this primarily in the title:

In the About or Summary section, you can add other related words in addition malaysian numbers to the keywords and expand on them further.
Although it is difficult to include them in the titles of the positions you held, an alternative is to do so when describing the tasks or functions you performed.

Without a doubt, one field where keywords cannot be missing is the services provided option. It doesn't matter if you are a freelancer or if you work for a company, all the keywords that identify you and for which you want to appear in searches should appear there.
When saving images (photo, cover) and other multimedia files, also name them with your keywords.
Add up all the courses and trainings you have taken and link them to your keywords. For example, if you took a digital marketing course where a module included B2B marketing, you can include the word B2B in the course name with a hyphen or in parentheses: Digital Marketing – B2B or Digital Marketing (B2B).
In skills, as in the summary, you can add all the keywords you want to rank for.
