The BIM model also helps in creating work schedules and stage-by-stage visualization of the construction process. Thanks to it, even before the construction is completed, you can see how the object will be erected, which elements will be built first and in what sequence.
However, creating work schedules requires a level of model detail that is usually not included in the standard parameters. For example, for correct visualization, a breakdown by floors and zones of the building is required, which requires additional development. Despite the potential, this function has not received widespread use due to the complexity and labor intensity of preparing the model for visualization.

Marking the completion of work
The next scenario for using a BIM model is tracking the construction process. In practice, this method is mainly used to implement monolithic works from start to finish. Using a BIM model to mark the completion of work allows you to record the volumes completed over a specific period of time, which simplifies control on the part of the customer and contractor.
The most important advantage of using BIM to control the execution of works is the ability of all project participants to work with a single information base. It allows to avoid disputes and misunderstandings at meetings, since all parties operate with the same data.
Linking notes to model elements
Another useful aspect of using BIM is the ability to link comments and instructions to elements of the model. This can be either a manual process, where an inspector marks comments in the model, or an automatic process through integration with other construction management systems.
Linking comments allows you to quickly respond to shortcomings, isolate problem areas and record which elements require revision. This significantly improves the quality control process and reduces the likelihood of missing important points.
