The technology expert Sara Menzel-Berger has called for a blog parade on the topic "Are you too blonde for technology?" – and I can't help but take part! You can find her contribution under this link .

In this article, I'll explain to you why you can't avoid "technology" for your social media marketing and why that's not such a bad thing. You'll also learn a bit about me - and how I got into "technology". I'll also tell you which "technology" I have a lot of respect for.

What exactly is this “technology”?
When I first heard during my preparations for Marketing Magic that "all this technology" represents a real hurdle for many newcomers to online business, I didn't really know what was meant by "technology".

For me personally, " technology" is something completely different:

By technology I mean mechanics, hydraulics and complicated calculations. For me, technology includes machines, devices and apparatus! A washing machine is technology, a car is too - but apart from a computer (without which you just can't do anything), online business and social media marketing don't really have much to do with technology!
