How to check if your Google Tag Manager settings are correct and if your tags are firing
Once you have set up the tags and triggers in Google Tag Manager, click "Publish" and then "Continue", and have fully published it, the next thing to check is whether the tag settings were properly done.
I could review the settings manually, but I'll use the "Preview" function in the upper right corner to check them.
Preview mode is a feature that allows you to check whether the intended tags are firing in container settings, including tags before publication .
Before setting up in preview, there is a function called "Tag Assistant" that can be used in Chrome . The steps to check in preview mode are as follows.
Search for Tag Assistant in Google Chrome and the colombia telegram data Chrome Web Store page will appear.
Then, you can click the blue button in the upper right corner that says "Remove from Chrome" to install an add-on called Tag Assistant, which will make it available for use in Google Chrome.
Then, go back to the previous screen and click "Preview" in the upper right corner .
This will bring up a screen called Tag Assistant.
When you click, a preview mode screen will open where you can enter the LP URL. Enter the URL of the LP you want to use for this ad in the URL input field and click "connect" .
This will take you to the LP page.
In this state, go back to the previous screen and click "continue" .
What is displayed here is the state in which all of the tags you have set up in Google Tag Manager are displayed.
The top and bottom are divided into ``tags fired'' and ``tags not fired.''
The tags that are fired when a page is accessed are the tags listed in the tags fired above, and they will fire according to the conditions you set.
If they are not fired, it will be displayed at the bottom as "tags not fired."
Tags displayed under tags not fired are in an unfired state.
If the tag you want to trigger is displayed under "Tag Not Fired," it means that it cannot be measured, so you should review the tag and trigger settings to make sure they are correct.
In addition, Google Analytics, Remarketing, YSite General, etc. have the all-page selection, which activates on all pages , so you can first check that they are activated.
On the other hand, the conversion-related tags below have trigger conditions, and the tag will not be activated unless an action is taken, so they are still at the bottom and have not been activated.
The LP we are using as an example this time is set up so that a tag is activated when the button ``Register on LINE for a free diagnosis'' is clicked.
This setting can be done for fre so we recommend that you do so.
