This blog is about the Find Duplicates module. Let's dive in and learn what the Find Duplicates feature is and how it can be used to clean up your database, ensuring that users have the whatsapp number list most current and up-to-date data in their CRM. We'll also discuss a few other ways to find duplicates in your CRM using list search, single view, and global search.

What is the duplicate finder module?

The Find Duplicates command module is available in all Vtiger editions and can be found in the Tools application under the Data Management category. It allows users to easily search for and identify duplicate records based on field values ​​in specific modules. Once duplicate records are identified, users can decide how best to manage them.

Using duplicate finder

Once the Find Duplicates module is opened, users will be prompted to select the module, list, and field values ​​they would like to search for to identify duplicate records. Users can also ignore empty field values ​​and check closed records for duplicates.

Once all criteria have been entered and the search button has been clicked, the system will quickly identify and present all duplicate records found in a list. From there, users can select the relevant records and decide how they would like to manage them using the Delete or Merge options.

When using the merge option, users can select up to three records at a time to then combine them into one. The selected records are displayed in a grid format, allowing the user to select the individual fields they would like to keep in the final merged record. It is incredibly useful to be able to get a clear view of all duplicate records with their fields side by side. This ensures that users keep the most accurate and up-to-date information from all duplicate records, as well as clean up and tidy up their
