care about the fate of the RuNet. Our task is to make sure that they
are listened to when drafting laws, when blocking or creating
any resources. Online services are
more than just commerce, they are the ecosystem in which we live.
— Where do you think
the Internet will develop in our country?
— The main thing I would like to note is that
Internet access has ceased to be just a service. Now it is, first and foremost,
an inalienable right of a citizen. Every
RuNet user should have access to the same range list of qatar cell phone numbers of basic services via
the Internet, especially government services, regardless of the city of residence, everywhere
and always.
As
for the Internet business, two trends stand out here. On the one hand, today
Internet companies have become among the most socially responsible. They
are developing various projects aimed specifically at a wide range of
users, a separate area for many is ensuring child
safety. On the other hand, services that were previously
considered purely "offline" are actively moving to the Internet. Now these are already utility providers,
transport companies and many others.
As I have already
said, Russia still has reserves for increasing the Internet audience – more than
40 million people are not yet “Internetized”. We
at ROCIT see one of our main goals in facilitating their connection and training – after all, those who have already gone
online, for the most part, positively evaluate the advantages they
have received. On the other hand, we need to constantly keep our finger on the pulse of the development
of the Internet sphere, including in matters of security – therefore, our long-term
projects in the field of increasing digital literacy and combating negative actions
on the Internet will be continued.
