Using multiple communication channels is critical to reaching customers at the right time and in the right place. As businesses expand their channel usage, integrating and ongoing management of these separate platforms takes time. Until now, Twilio, Segment, and SendGrid offered a siloed login experience, leading to frustration during the signup, login, and management process. But things are changing: With the new Product Selector feature, Twilio has taken the first step toward a unified signup and login experience across all of its products. With it, Twilio users have a single identity and enjoy a seamless navigation experience between SendGrid and Segment.
Note: This feature is currently not available for Twilio SSO users or whatsapp philippines number trial accounts. Simplified registration on channels Existing Twilio customers can now create a new SendGrid or Segment account directly within their Twilio console. With a unified identity across the Twilio platform, they can use their existing Twilio login credentials, reducing friction when onboarding to these products. Users can then log in to SendGrid or Segment with their existing Twilio credentials. A single Twilio identity This single identity across all Twilio products reduces the hassle and security risks of managing multiple logins and passwords.
Each user will have a single login and will share their user settings, including email and two-factor authentication (2FA) configuration, across all products used. Updates to user information will only need to be made once in a centralized location in the Twilio Console. Existing Segment users will also have the option to link their existing Twilio login credentials, reducing the number of passwords they need to manage. This feature will be available for SendGrid as well soon. Please contact your SendGrid representative or our support team for manual assistance. Multichannel experience Twilio has invested in Segment customer data management platform and SendGrid messaging platform to deliver a multichannel experience to its customers to increase engagement.
