The PPC trends for 2022 show: The end of expanded text ads (ETA) on Google Ads is approaching. Google has announced that creating or editing expanded text ads will no longer be possible from June 30, 2022 .
And what happens to existing expanded text ads? These will continue to be delivered, but as part of the changeover they can only be paused, reactivated or deleted. Google's recommendation: Instead of expanded text ads, advertisers should switch to responsive search ads (RSAs).
