Another great example of a strong brand ambassador culture can be found at the IT service provider fme AG from Braunschweig. This includes shared values that are binding for all employees.

The focus of the company's self-presentation is therefore not so much its services, but rather its corporate culture and employees. There is an extensive onboarding program. A "Culture Book" is published regularly: On the one hand, this strengthens employer branding, both in terms of employee recruitment and onboarding and employee retention. On the other hand, it is intended to bring the company closer to customers using authentic brand faces.

"As part of the welcome package, we have therefore written this little book together for our new employees. Our culture is what each individual thinks about it, what distinguishes it from other forex data companies, what everyone likes about it and what else we thought of on the subject. In the form of photos, quotes and stories that describe the topic of fme culture for us, we have included EVERY contribution in the book. Only the typos were corrected, the rest remained as it was and was included in the book with a translation into English. The fme Culture Book is distributed to all new and current employees, but also to potential applicants, to help them assess whether they and fme are a good fit. We also use the Culture Book to show our customers what makes fme so special and unique." ( Source )

This image is part of a series of quotes from the brand ambassador interviews in the book.

Authorities also have brand ambassadors, and some of them are even social media influencers. Employer branding plays a particularly important role in the public sector, because recruiting skilled workers is usually more important than achieving certain sales targets. I interviewed Michelle Uhrig, a competitive athlete and police officer, for my book. She reports that her example inspires many young people to also be interested in a career in the police:

"I get inquiries almost every day about how best to apply and how I passed the selection process, whether I have any tips. I'm happy that I can motivate young people to join the police."
