The date in front in reverse notation helps with sorting, with the keyword Webinar I know that the subscriber was a webinar participant and did not find me via the ribbon or a pop-up or a specific freebie. And with the last part I now also know the topic that the subscriber is interested in. That is much better.
But it's still far from optimal. It can be even better, even more precise!
I came across this system through a document on The Active Marketer website, where Barry Moore gives many other tips on marketing with (among others) ActiveCampaign and ThriveThemes.
Essentially, it works like cyprus telegram screening this:

My improved system was already on the right track, but it suffered from the fact that I had difficulty recognizing the different types of tags. I was missing a visual cue for quick recognition. Barry Moore uses CAPITAL LETTERS for this . When I saw this for the first time, I just thought: Brilliant! And so simple!
Here are a few examples of how I now use the tags in ActiveCampaign after the optimized tagging system:
TOPIC : Landing pages
PROMOTION : Order
LEAD : Twitter Compact Seminar
CUSTOMER : Marketing Magic Circle
FREEBIE : Persona character sheet

I put the tag type in front of it in capital letters. This way I know at a glance whether it is the topic that the subscriber is interested in or whether they have downloaded a freebie. I don't even have to include the date in the tag; I can assign it as a separate tag if I think it is important. By combining several tags, I can also very precisely trace where the subscriber comes from for an action. And since the tags are also combined for every action that the subscriber performs, it may be the case, for example, that a subscriber has received the following tags:
