Instagram is the social network of the moment. Today, the network that belongs to Facebook can be worth more than 100 billion dollars and is the bet of marketing professionals and many companies.

The user numbers are also impressive. The company argentina email list 4.8 million contact leads announced in June 2018 that it had reached the 1 billion active user mark , and even took the opportunity to introduce a new app.

Along with the rise of the network, IGTV arrived with everything and Instagram launched into video production to compete with other already established platforms, such as YouTube.

Unlike the Stories proposal, for example, Instagram TV can contain long videos with a duration of up to 60 minutes.

In this article, we're going to tell you everything we've already discovered about the tool and some ideas for investing in your content there.

How does IGTV work?
The platform, launched on June 20, can be found within the Photos app itself or as a separate app — it can be downloaded on Android and iOS devices.

Despite being different applications, the platforms are fully integrated. In addition to the visual similarity, to access both you need to use the same account and, in addition, you can interact with the same Instagram users.

IGTV can be accessed through both applications and, although it was created exclusively for the exchange of the new type of content, they continue to be available on Instagram.

In the original app, the IGTV icon is next to the Direct symbol , which is located at the top right of the app's home screen.

What we know so far is that the tool is focused on content-producing users who already operate on Instagram and who were previously unable to publish content in larger sizes.

Despite the proposed 60-minute recording limit, only verified accounts or those with a larger reach can upload such long content .

Other users can access the tool, but with a 10-minute limit.

For now, the app only records vertical videos, with a resolution of up to 4K (that is, 4,000 pixels horizontally and 2,000 vertically) and from 15 seconds to 1 hour in length.
