Support: What support do security incident response teams receive from the wider organisation? This could include HR-led stress reduction programmes, paid time off for rest and recovery following an incident, and formal channels for employees to raise concerns and suggestions about the working conditions they face during such campaigns.

, for me, it’s about recognizing the humanity of the people doing this work. They are people, not robots. And that means negative emotions in response to negative situations that arise during or after an incident are natural and healthy. So CISOs themselves must be highly resilient, supporting healthy emotional expression in team members under pressure and not expecting them to keep their spirits up during the toughest times.

The CISO also needs to remind himself that this applies directly to him. He cannot be useful to the team if he does not take care of himself.

Why IPv6 Can't Be Ignored

With IPv6 usage set to grow, now is the time to cyprus mobile database that you have or will soon have IPv6 on your network and begin working with the IPv6 plane to incorporate it into your management strategy, writes Josh Stevens, CTO of BackBox, on Network Computing .

This summer I watched the new animated movie Spider-Man: Into the Spider's Web, and it got me thinking about the multiverse theory, and how IPv4, IPv6, and even out-of-band networks for telemetry are like a set of universes that make up your network. These different dimensions exist whether you are aware of them or interact with them or not. But understanding that there may be another plane of existence from which bad guys are attacking you is key to protecting your enterprise.

IPv6 Deployment and Abuse Gaining Momentum
IPv6 has been talked about for 20 years, but you may still not be planning to use it as part of your network management strategy, and bad actors are noticing. Over the past eight months, the share of IPv6 addresses associated with malicious activity has doubled, from 10% to 20%, according to CrowdSec. This is consistent with the steady growth of IPv6 adoption, with the percentage of users accessing Google over IPv6 exceeding 40%.
