A national strategy focused on ecotourism

The Cape Verdean government has made sustainable tourism a national priority. The "Cabo Verde Sustentável 2030" plan sets ambitious goals: 50% renewable energy in the energy mix, protection of 30% of coastal areas and development of agrotourism in rural areas.
