The smart solutions market has been advancing rapidly. How do you see Contabilizei's strategies to stay ahead of the competition?

Every day we focus our efforts on maintaining a transparent and humanized dialogue with our customers, offering innovative and technological solutions, in addition to further awakening trust in those who use our services.

As a differentiator, today our 30,000 clients can count not only on our accounting assistance, but also on an ecosystem of possibilities to help them manage their businesses. We are expanding our portfolio of uruguay mobile database services, which currently go far beyond accounting. We provide aggregated services such as corporate checking accounts, management of accounts payable and receivable, health plan advice for families and employees, among others.

We also realized that there are many entrepreneurs who are not as digitally oriented and want to be closer to the customer. For this reason, Contabilizei, which previously only operated digitally, now has two physical stores, one in São Paulo and the other in Rio de Janeiro. With the new investment we received in 2022, our plan is to launch another five or six stores in the next four months to provide in-person customer service.

How can the regulatory scenario help and/or hinder the evolution of these solutions?

The solutions offered to entrepreneurs are subject to many regulations. There are many opportunities for regulatory innovation – such as sandboxes – promoted by some government agencies. This fosters technological innovation in highly regulated environments.

But a deeper cultural change is needed in the way we view these innovations, which does not necessarily involve the creation of new laws.

The expansion of regulatory impact analysis can also be an ally in the evolution of these solutions.
