You don't always have to wait weeks or months to increase traffic to your blog or website. There are little "tricks" that can help you get an effect within 24 hours. Here are 10 tips to increase page views in less than 1 day.

How to increase blog traffic in less than 24 hours

1. Publish a new post – Ok, this isn’t a very original trick. But you always get more traffic when you publish a new post. This traffic will increase with the number of subscribers to your blog. I will publish a post on how to increase them soon.

2. Tweet at different times : Not all of your followers are online journalists email list at the same time of day. Take advantage of the morning and evening at 11am to tweet your new post. In my experience, this is the best time to tweet a post on Twitter.

3. Publish your post on news aggregators : On sites like Menéame you can add your posts so that users can vote on whether they find them interesting. I wouldn't do this more than once a month at most. Even if you don't make it to the front page, you can still get around 100 hits.

4. Take advantage of the €50 Adwords bonus : open a Google Adwords account and take advantage of the €50 Google bonus that is about to expire to attract qualified traffic to your website. If you don't have one, you can probably get one by searching in forums or asking on Twitter.

5. Offer to publish your best post on a blog with traffic – If you have a ready-made article that has the potential to get attention, try publishing it on another site in your niche that has much more traffic than yours. The only thing you should ask for in return is a link back to your site.

6. Participate in LinkedIn groups : There are many groups that can be related to the topics you discuss on your blog. The most important thing is to add value to the discussions and not simply try to “sneak” a link to your website.
