t Days as TVN Warner Bros. Discovery. What was your goal? Was it your first time at our fair? What do you value about it?
Karol Niewiadomski from TVN Warner Bros. Discovery: From an employer's perspective, participating in a job fair is a celebration and, in fact, the culmination of the work we do as part of employer branding activities. The fair is an amazing opportunity to meet people who know our brand and are looking for employment with us, but an even better opportunity to tell people entering the job market who we are and why it's worth working with us.
The main goals for us are always twofold. The first is of course to reach students and graduates who do not actively follow us on social media with our job and internship offers. The second, no less important, is education. During Talent Days, we try to run workshops that allow you to build your personal brand or present the behind-the-scenes of working in television.
We have been attending Talent Days regularly for several years now, and the biggest positive is the incredible energy, curiosity and diversity of the young people we meet there. I am all the more pleased that we can also participate in the Talent Hero campaign and show everyone how our presence at Talent Days has translated into employment history in our company.
I value the fairs themselves and the people who organize them the most for their "nothing is impossible" approach, which is best demonstrated by the fact that the spring edition of the Talent Days fair in Krakow. We came up with a rather crazy idea to show work on TV "from the inside" and make our TV vans available to people visiting the job fairs. They are always the silent heroes of happy and dramatic events reported on TV. Additionally, we also wanted to show the tangible effects of the work of people responsible for TV production, as well as exhibit the car presented in the program "Klimek kontra Duda" - a replica of the AC Cobra. Despite the crazy and ambitious ideas, I never heard "no" from the organizers.
Talent Days: What kind of candidates/talents were you looking for at Talent Days? For what positions?
Karol: We have a very wide range of positions for which we were looking for candidates during the spring edition of Talent Days. Starting with internship positions in the finance department, through the TV production and technology department, to people who would support our Technology Operations Center in Krakow. We always encourage everyone to familiarize themselves with our careers page. As a very large organization with large recruitment needs, we do not target visitors to job fairs, but try to advise them on which of the currently open positions could meet their expectations and provide opportunities for development. In doing so, we rely on the experiences and interests of people who met us at Talent Days.
