Emailing . Everyone talks about it, but no one really knows what it is or what it refers to or, better yet, what benefits it can bring to a company. Types of Emailing
When talking about emailing, most people think of one thing: “they are going to sell me something”…but that is not always the case. There are various types of emailing depending on the objective being pursued; building customer loyalty, finding potential customers, notifying them of any incidents with the products and/or services contracted, communication, branding, etc.
If we are interested in building loyalty among existing customers , the ideal tool is the Newsletter . This is a periodic bulletin (this premise is the key) with useful and interesting information for the customer, both about our company and our sector.
However, if we are looking for potential clients for our business, we send Announcements and/or Promotions . These types of mailings, unlike Newsletters, do not need to be periodic and we have the possibility of “renting” a database to expand our client portfolio. Messages must be short, clear and concise with a single “call to action ” .
Another type of email, Security/Urgent Notices , is used to notify our clients and/or suppliers of any incidents in our products and/or services or to inform them of new schedules in our company, for example.
If, in addition, we have implemented an external communication policy in our company with conventional media, we can use emailing to send press releases to editors.

However, any of the types of emailing detailed above must meet a series of basic requirements. Namely:
