How does the Scrum methodology work?
The operation of this agile methodology goes through a process that we will outline, point by point, below.
Product Backlog: The Product Owner is responsible for this document, which contains the set of assignments, needs and functionalities of the project. All profiles have access to this file in order to modify it.
Sprint Backlog: This document is used to define the tasks of each team member as well as to assign the time to carry them out; this depends on the volume of the tasks.
Sprint : is the period of time in which all the tasks assigned in the Sprint Backlog are carried out, so partial deliveries must be made to test the product. It is important to mention that this cycle must be repeated until all the tasks in the Backlog have been carried out and delivered. There should be no time between Sprints without doing something productive.
Burn Down: is the control in which the evolution of tasks and requirements must be detailed until reaching final delivery.
Sprint Planning Meeting: With the Scrum methodology, there will be no room for useless meetings, as there is no time to waste. Therefore, the Product Owner will be in charge of prioritizing the assignments contained in the Product Backlog, and with them in mind, the objective of the new Sprint is defined, prioritizing the assignments that the Scrum Team will make.
Daily Scrum: is the daily monitoring that will be done on the assigned tasks.

Examples of the uses of the Scrum methodology
There are two case studies to help you better understand this technology. One is a success story and the other, rather, a failure.
For his part, it was Jeff Sutherland, co-creator of Scrum and Senior Advisor and Coach at OpenView, who explained the reasons for the failure of one of the cases and the success of the other in an interview.
Shopify
Shopify gave the Scrum Master the importance he needed for the success of their project, meaning they let him do his job as the primary leader.
Furthermore, they did not implement the methodology themselves as a company, but hired external agents to do the work.
On the other hand, the Project Owner's work was carried out to its full potential, being the voice of the client so that the requirements were resolved, which was essential for the results to be the most optimal and expected.
