Many are looking for a thrill and adrenaline rush, others just want to escape from everyday life. Andy Aebi does it out of passion - paragliding. He has been working as a flight instructor since 2002 and founded the paragliding school Flugbasis together with a friend in 2011 .
The learned paragliding instructor chose the idyllic Spietz in the Swiss canton of Bern to take the bold step of becoming self-employed. He was also bold because the competition bahrain telegram screening was fierce: there are eleven different flying schools in the Bern area alone. "Competition stimulates business," says Aebi with a wink, adding that he would still regret it today if he had not taken the step. The flight base is doing better than ever, with 50 of the 80 annual paragliding training courses (so-called paragliding brevets) in the Bern area being completed at his flying school.
The flight base offers everything a pilot's heart desires
In addition to the paragliding license, the flight base also offers further training, a specialist shop and even paragliding trips . The flying holidays take place in Spain and Italy, for example, and Aebi leads the trips either alone or with a local guide. "It all depends on how well I know the local areas myself," explains the former world champion and multiple Swiss paragliding champion.
