Step 3: Don’t start the novel with Chapter 1
Warning: Do not start with chapter one.
That's the worst thing you can do.
Who starts putting up walls without first drawing a floor plan?
No matter how great your idea is, it's still too abstract. You have to write it down first.
It's about being clear about your premise, roughly sketching out characters and plot, and at least designing variations on a theme.

“Never write the first greece phone number list scene until you have finished the last scene.”
You need to know where the whole journey is going – unless you want to experience a painful and endless odyssey through the world of writing.
Write, delete, write, delete – also known as writer ’s hell .

Write down everything you know about your story - characters, scenes, plot. Write down any questions you are unsure about. Try to work out the rough skeleton of your book.

Write the end first and then go to the beginning. Fill in the gaps between the two points.
