You won't need to create a separate campaign to use this new type of PPC ad . Ads can run in existing video or image campaigns. You'll even be able to use multiple formats in one campaign (e.g. video + image in one campaign).

Another interesting format announced by LinkedIn is Documents . Starting in January 2021, you can create event ads that allow you to target your audience using the new event ad format . This new feature will allow businesses to create an ad that includes the option to confirm attendance for the event within the ad itself.

This type of ad will help make it easier for LinkedIn users to sign up for an event and increase its attendance.

Campaign Manager Lite
A slimmed-down version of LinkedIn Campaign Manager, called Campaign Manager Lite , was released in late 2020. It is aimed at small and medium-sized businesses that want to manage their PPC advertising campaigns on LinkedIn but don't yet feel the need to invest in the more robust Campaign Manager tool.

LinkedIn Business Manager
LinkedIn Business Manager will launch in Q2 2021 and is likely to be one of LinkedIn’s most sophisticated updates yet. It will be a centralized tool for efficiently and securely managing user access across ad accounts, Pages, and matching audiences. It will work similarly to Facebook’s Business Manager , where businesses can grant agencies and partners varying levels of permission to help them manage their ad accounts.
