Verify your domain, SPF, and DKIM with Mailchimp DMARC
Mailchimp DMARC verification, SPF, and DKIM can help you prevent your domain from being used illegally. This has become mandatory since February 1, 2024, as unauthenticated emails may be blocked by Gmail and Yahoo inboxes. This article explains a few simple steps to set up domain verification for your registered domain on the Mailchimp portal.
Setting up domain verification for registered domains
To start verifying your email domain on Mailchimp, you phone number list first need to verify your domain. To do this, follow these steps:
Click on your profile icon and select the Settings tab.
On the Domains page, click Verify .
The Verify Domain window will pop up . Enter your email address and click Continue .
You will receive a verification email with a verification code to your address. Enter the verification code and click " Verify ".
You will receive a status message that your domain verification was successful.

Configure Mailchimp DMARC
To configure Mailchimp DMARC, publish records in your DNS database. Your domain registrar can assist you with this step. You can use our tool to validate your configuration. This will ensure that your records are error-free and implemented correctly.
Once you have your Mailchimp DMARC record set up, go to Mailchimp and confirm the authentication. Your domain should have a " Verified " status.
Before implementing DMARC for Mailchimp, you need to configure Mailchimp DKIM or SPF. This is a required step to ensure that DMARC validation is effective. Mailchimp requires you to verify your domain name before proceeding.
