The Transport Document is part, together with the electronic order, of those “post-award” documents that in PEPPOL are defined through specifications called “Post-Award BIS Specification and Guidelines ”. More precisely, PEPPOL refers to the Dispatch Advice , or the Shipping Notice, which in Italy is also used as a Transport Document. Traditionally, the DDT as we know it contains the delivery or shipping date, the personal details of the transferor, transferee , and any carrier and, of course, the detailed description of the goods and the quantity.

All this information is naturally also included in the Dispatch Advice 3.0 layout , which also australia phone data allows you to include various additional information, such as the presence of dangerous materials in the shipment, the type of transport , the characteristics of the packaging and much more . Above all, the layout in question contains a specific field to be used to perform automatic reconciliation between the DDT itself and the electronic order to which it refers , an aspect that, as we will see, brings with it various benefits.

At the moment, the document released by AgID and PEPPOL does not yet refer to the SAL – State of Progress of Work, but certainly in the future the formats and tools to manage this type of document will also be provided, perhaps taking Dispatch Advice 3.0 as a starting point once again.
