To monitor market fluctuations through the optimism of CFOs from major Brazilian companies regarding Brazilian society and the economy, Saint Paul Escola de Negócios, in partnership with the Brazilian Institute of Finance Executives (IBEF-SP), publishes the CFO Confidence Index (iCFO) quarterly.
Released in early 2022, the survey for the 4th quarter of 2022 showed a drop in the level of optimism compared to the previous quarter, returning to the level of the 1st quarter of the same year. The index ends up being a thermometer for several productive sectors of the Brazilian economy.
Some results are interesting to observe, such as what will be cameroon whatsapp data the destination of investment in the next 12 months. The expansion of installed capacity was cited by 28.2% of respondents, and investment in IT was the second most cited factor, being a recurring item since 2016.
The expectation of an increase in employees and outsourced workers, with 42% representation, is lower compared to the same period in 2021. On the other hand, the expectation of maintaining the staff increased, being cited by 43% of CFOs.
Survey respondents also listed their main concerns, which were: domestic market demand, the cost of inputs and exchange rates.
