Apps running on the device use the RTT API to measure the distance to nearby access points. Accuracy varies depending on the number of access points used, but if the distance to three or more access points is known, it is possible to pinpoint your location with an accuracy of about 1 to 2 meters. There
is no need to set up a cumbersome access point like with Wi-Fi, but to protect privacy, distance measurement is only possible from your smartphone.

Notification muting powered by machine learning
In Android Pie, if a user repeatedly deletes notifications from the same app without opening them, the app will ask if they want to mute the notifications.

In Settings > Apps & Notifications > Notifications, you can see how often each app shows you notifications, and mute (or unmute) them individually!
