The document list of israel cell phone numbers obliges search engines to remove links from search results at the request of citizens if these materials contain inaccurate or outdated information about them. Citizens will be able to demand that services remove not only false information from search results, but also true data if more than three years have passed since their publication.
The "right to be forgotten" is not an invention of Russian legislators. The portal "Axiom" has figured out how it works in European countries and what are the differences in the bill of Russian deputies.
A similar ruling was made by the European Court exactly one year ago. It all started when a Spanish citizen, Mario Costeja González, asked the National Agency for Data Protection (AEPD) to delete an electronic version of a 1998 article in the archives of the newspaper La Vanguardia about the sale of his house at auction to pay a debt that he later repaid.
The complaint about the removal of the article on the newspaper's website was rejected, while the complaint about the Google Spain search results was upheld. As a result, the case reached the European Court, which ruled against Google. According to the ruling, EU citizens have the right to send search engines requests to remove search results by their name. Information can be removed if it is outdated, offensive to the user, or untrue.
