Overview of the main GA report groups

Post by nusaiba127 »

Let's look at what user actions can be tracked on the site. Conventionally, all goals can be divided into macro and micro conversions. Micro conversions are actions that precede macro conversion. For example, in an online store, the macro goal is a completed order, and micro goals can be interaction with the catalog filter, visiting the product card, adding a product to the cart, going to the checkout page.

Below is an example of what a poland consumer email list traffic source report with goals looks like.

The report shows how many target actions for the goal "adding a product to favorites" each traffic source brought. Using this data, you can determine which sources bring you users who perform the desired actions on the site, and which do not.

Let's take a closer look at the conversion block

In standard GA reports, there is a conversion block where you can select a previously configured goal and find out the conversion rate and the number of goals achieved within different report sections.
