That’s why closing a sale starts with asking good qualifying questions upfront:
What is your budget?
Besides yourself, who else will be involved in making that decision?
What is the best way to involve everyone in the decision-making process?
What is your implementation timeline?
What is your timeline for making a decision?
How do our solutions meet your needs?
What other solutions have you considered?
When should I get back to you to find out your decision?

Build relationships with everyone involved in decision making.
Ask good questions and listen so you can gather information to understand their needs.
Only provide information that is relevant to their question
Require a firm commitment from your prospects at every step of the sales process

It’s much easier to close a sale when you get a series of commitments during the sales process, rather than waiting until the end to “ask for the sale.”
