Adding a photo to the description

The order list usually contains only the product names. In principle, this is logical: the buyer has already looked through all the photos in the galleries and studied the descriptions, choosing the products. However, until the order is made, doubts remain. You can motivate a person to place an order as soon as possible if you remind him of what wonderful products he has already put in the basket.

We leave an area on the order page for promotional codes and coupons
Online stores that give customers promo codes or direct mail mortgage marketing discount coupons should provide a special field in the order form where the code will be entered. It is very unpleasant when there is simply nowhere to enter a few digits of the coveted coupon.

You can hide this field and open it only by clicking, so as not to overload the form and not distract those who do not have a promo code from making a purchase.

When all the fields to be filled in are visible on one page, the user can immediately estimate how much time it will take. Step-by-step filling of forms does not provide such an opportunity, and the client will be afraid that at the next step he will get stuck and lose a lot of time.

To improve the page, try to make the form as concise as possible. Remove from it everything that is not required at this stage (for example, delivery information should be displayed when a specific option has already been selected).

We leave only the necessary fields in the form
Appreciate the time that customers spend on you. Try to make their job easier and do not ask for information that you can easily do without. For example, to order a product with delivery, you only need the address where the couriers will bring the item and the customer's contact phone number. That's all!

The remaining fields can be made optional:

Name (the consultant needs it to address the buyer during a telephone conversation).

Comments, additional information (if the client wants to clarify something about payment or delivery).

Address. Companies want to collect more contacts of potential customers and fill up the database, but the customer may remain potential if he changes his mind about paying for the purchase while registering and filling in all the fields.

The absence of an address is not a problem, even if delivery is needed. The manager will simply call him on the phone number that the client left and clarify all the details.
