What is the goal of Facebook?

Post by Mitu100@ »

Facebook’s business is… well?

What do you think?

In any case, it is not about providing entrepreneurs with a kind of mega exhibition hall for free. Facebook's business is paid advertising. The primary goal is to ensure that as many people as possible see these ads and respond to them. Only then will the advertisers be satisfied and book more advertising.

Since no one watches ads voluntarily (except maybe a few crazy marketing people like me), Facebook has to make sure that the content there is as interesting, entertaining and useful as possible.

The secondary goal is to entertain Facebook users and present them with useful and personally relevant content.

This is where we come in with our organic content.

Facebook has no interest in kenya telegram screening killing all organic content – then there would only be paid advertising and the mix would no longer be right.

But Facebook also has no interest in delivering anything that looks like advertising but has not been paid for.

Now you might say: "Damn! - I don't have the desire or money to promote my posts." What then?

Here is our big opportunity as solopreneurs:

If we understand that we cannot appear organically on Facebook primarily as advertisers, but rather as entertainers, educators or whatever is exciting for our target group in some way, then we will not only know WHAT we can post at any time, but will also be rewarded by Facebook with the corresponding reach.

So if we use Facebook to entertain our fans, friends and group members – then we also get reach.
