Which smartphone do you need?
I won't be making any brand recommendations here, just guidelines. Because whether you're a fan of Apple or Android doesn't really make much difference. But I can't tell you whether you could do everything I'm describing with a Windows Phone or a Blackberry, because I don't know these systems from experience.
