The “ Security Level ” option determines the security level of your website and, based on the parameter you set, Cloudflare decides whether to present a challenge using the reputation of the visitor's IP address.
By default, the standard level is “ Medium ,” with the option to reduce or increase protection based on your needs. The highest mode is “ I'm Under Attack! ”, which Cloudflare recommends only activating if you're in the midst of a DDoS attack.
Customizing the Security Level can be done from the Cloudflare active phone number list dashboard or directly from the Manager Control Panel by accessing the “DNS Records” section of the domain with DNS zone on Cloudflare.
