First, to overcome the distance between patients and healthcare practitioners that has increased due to the increase in medical deserts: doctors, healthcare assistants, pharmacists turkey phone number list and medical staff, who are less and less available to patients, can instead save medical time thanks to digital health. This allows them to regain proximity with patients who are geographically distant from the place of care, or who usually struggle to find an appointment. This objective is partially achieved, since for 58.6% of remote consultations, the doctor practices in the patient's municipality of residence or less than 5 kilometers away [4] . Seven out of ten teleconsultations are also carried out with patients living in large urban areas, where public transport is most developed and where it is therefore easiest to get around. Nevertheless, one practitioner in three believes that teleconsultation can be a solution for treating patients living in areas with low medical density.
The second objective of digital health is that health practitioners can provide much more precise and refined monitoring of their patients' pathologies, with certain predictive technologies even making it possible to anticipate risks.
