Instagram ads - Ad placement

Post by rochon.a1.119 »

When you access the option to create similar audiences, the following screen will appear.

Create a lookalike audience on Instagram Ads
In this section you will need to define a database source and then the location.

You can add multiple countries here but make sure you have the maximum source audience in those locations.

If you enter a country where no one from your source audience is located, the platform will not be able to find you a similar audience.

Next you select the audience size.

I recommend creating two lookalike audiences, one with a size of 1% and one with a size of 2%.

At the bottom right, it will show you the “estimated reach,” that is, the size of the audience you are looking for.

With 1% the audience will be very similar to our original audience.

The higher the audience percentage, the larger its audience size, but the less similar it will be to your source audience.

4.- Select the location of the ads
Now it's time to select the locations where you want your singapore phone number list ad to appear.

As for the device type, I recommend that you uncheck the computer option and leave only mobile.

As for platforms, you will need to uncheck all the options except Instagram, so that the ads will only be displayed on this network.

You will see that within it you have the option to place the ads either in the feed or in Stories.

Keep in mind that ad design requirements for each placement are different, so you can ensure you create ads that are tailored to each location.

If you want your ads to appear only in stories, uncheck the news section.

Next you will need to define your budget and schedule.

Remember that the budget from June onwards will be mandatory at the campaign level.

As you can currently choose between optimizing the budget for the campaign or within the ad set, if you choose at the ad set level you will find this screen where you can choose the daily budget or the total budget.

If you choose a daily budget, you can run your ads continuously from the moment you publish your campaign, or you can set a start and end date for your campaign.
