How to View Google Cache

How you reach a cached Google page from Google search engine results will depend on the type of device you are using. From a desktop web browser, you have two options:

You can follow a link to the cached version of a page from Google search results.
You can go directly to the page.
On mobile browsers, you only have the option to use the direct URL.

View a Cached Page from Google Search Results
Even if you're experienced in seeing cached sites from the search results page, you may want to read this because Google changed the way it finds a cached link in early 2021.

To get started, find the page you want to see on Google. Next to the page’s URL in the search results, you should see three vertical dots. Click on them and a pop-up window should appear with the title “About this result”:

This feature is currently in beta. It's designed to allow you to learn more about a site (such as whether it's safe) before clicking through.

At the bottom right of the pop-up window, there is a button called Cache . Click it to view the cached page.

But if you're on mobile, you won't see the button for any page. In that case, read on to learn the other method of viewing a cached page.

Modify the URL to view the Cached Page
For this method, you need to know the URL of the page you want to view. Just enter it cache:website.xyzin the search bar.

For example, cache:kinsta.comit will take you directly to our cached home page.

Other Tools to View Google Cache
You don't need any special tools to view cached pages; Google makes it extremely easy natively. But there are some tools with features that you might like.
