So for these big decisions, we easily understand that they are important and they are even very important. The small everyday decisions are just as important. They are super important, these decisions. What I am going to eat for lunch, whether I am going to do sports or not, whether I am going to read a book later, what time I go to bed, all these small decisions are just as important. And it is often a little less, let's say intuitive. We do not fully understand why or in any case let's say it is not that we do not understand why, but we tend to understand less that they are super important.
or at least concepts that I really like that were reported by Jim Rohn, the very famous American speaker, that I often quote and who is really a… for me, he is the best, he is really the one who influenced me the most in terms of personal development, he says that success is simply having a few simple disciplines that you practice every day. Success is having a few simple disciplines that you practice every day. So there, it is linked to decisions of course. And he says that failure is a few errors of judgment repeated every day. A few errors of judgment repeated every day is failure.
And so, of course, these few disciplines or these few errors of judgment, well they correspond to decisions. So, we can see that decisions are very important, whether they are big or small, whether they are big decisions with big stakes like the examples taken earlier or whether they are small decisions that do not seem to be very important.
I made a video on the Français Authentique YouTube channel in which I presented five steps to decide in a theoretical and concrete way. So, I'm also giving you the link in the description of this iran whatsapp number data episode to this video. If you want to go see it after listening to this podcast, it will allow you to have a little method of my way of deciding, the five steps that I use to make decisions. So, these are really great techniques and I invite you to go see it a little later via the YouTube link in the description.
But today, I wanted to share with you something that is perhaps even more important, a concept that you will be able to apply from today. It is ultimately to understand that deciding is worked like a muscle, the fact of deciding is worked like a muscle, and it is by making small decisions but which can this time be insignificant. In which restaurant are we going to eat this weekend with the family? What activity am I going to do tonight? Am I going to call a friend to go for a drink or am I going to go to the movies?
These decisions that really don't have a great significance, these decisions, you can use them as training to teach yourself to decide. What am I going to eat at the restaurant? What dish am I going to choose? Really any small decision that is insignificant, that seems insignificant, where you have little error or little chance of making a mistake or in any case where the error is not dramatic. If you choose restaurant A and you didn't eat very well, it's not dramatic.
So the idea is to train yourself to decide, since deciding is a science but it is also something that we work like a muscle, well train yourself to decide on a daily basis via small insignificant things, so really take the time to decide well, not run away from any decision, choose constantly and you will see that it is something that I do not do or too little and that poses a problem for me, but we will come back to that just after.
There is a quote that I really like
