It's easy to start a blog. The hard part is never getting started, but rather not giving up on a new challenge after a short time. If you've thought about starting a blog in 2013, these tips can help you avoid some beginner mistakes.

As a regular reader of this blog, this will serve as a summary of some of the entries I have published recently.
1. Respect third-party content : “Copy and paste” is not jordan email list what blogging is all about. Don’t even think about taking photos from Google as images for your blog if you don’t want to risk copyright claims in the future.

2. Register your own domain : There are many free options for starting a blog. These options are not ideal since the blog URL always includes the name of the platform (e.g. myblog.blogplatform.com).

3. Blogger or WordPress : There is a much larger community for WordPress. Even though I don't know Blogger well, I recommend the latter as it offers more options for people with limited technical knowledge through plug-ins.

4. Don't include ads : you won't make much money at the beginning anyway. We're talking about a couple of cents or euros a month. To build a community, it's better to leave the blog without ads at the beginning.
