What is behind the Schema.org Markup Speakable?

Post by rifat28dddd »

You can already mark your content as Speakable. However, be aware that this feature is currently only available in the US and only for news. The structured data may help you secure a featured snippet in search queries. Whether and how effective the Speakable markup will be in this regard is difficult to assess.

Speakable Content: What you need to pay attention to with readable content
There are a few things to consider when using Speakable structured iran cell phone number list data in terms of content. The basic rule is: Think about user intent and user behavior. Speakable content should also be snackable content: easily and quickly consumable content that is simply read aloud.

Less is more: Instead of marking the entire article as speakable, focus on important sections.
Make your headings as concise as possible.
Use short sentences for your content. Short sentences are easy to read aloud for text-to-speech applications. These concise sentence structures are easier for the listener to understand than long, convoluted sentences with complex content, which require a high level of concentration from the listener and are also suboptimal for the voice assistant.

When marking content as Speakable, make sure it makes sense when read aloud. For example, don't use structured data for highlighting (in news or press releases), image captions, or source references.
Do not mark content as Speakable that refers to non-readable content (e.g. graphics).
Users' attention spans are short. This also applies to speakable content. The content in the structured data should not exceed 2 to 3 sentences or 20 to 30 seconds of reading time.
