On July 29th, Mynavi Creators held an online seminar entitled "Web Industry Evolution Practical Course #08: Become an engineer who is resilient to change! Agile career advancement."
"Web Industry Evolution Practical Course" is a course where you can industry email list learn about your career from role models working at the forefront of the web industry. This is the eighth installment of the series, and this time we invited Shinya Yamamoto as a guest to talk about the real development scene and the skills required in SaaS development.

Born in Sanmu City, Chiba Prefecture in May 1984.
After graduating from the Faculty of Letters at Meiji University, he worked as a web director at Hoken Co., Ltd. While managing over 100 websites, he worked on website construction and business improvement, and became a freelancer in 2015. He then self-taught himself in front-end and back-end technology, and in August 2017 became CEO of ShareDan Co., Ltd. As a web director and front-end engineer, he is active in a wide range of areas, including building web applications for major automobile manufacturers and analyzing websites for major mobile carriers, utilizing his experience in planning, construction, and operation of his own services while also managing his own company. In 2020, he launched the "Web Creators Guild" and is currently working as the head of SaaS product development for a major venture while also nurturing creators.

Yamamoto started working at a specialized publishing company as a new graduate, and was involved in the operation of many websites as a web director . He currently works as a "playing manager" at ShareDan, Inc., a company he started himself, where he works on projects for major companies (for details of his career , please refer to the prior interview " Having the mindset to pioneer the web industry ").
The first half of the seminar was titled "Information about development in the field using Vue.js x Nuxt.js" and was aimed especially at front-end engineers, providing hints on everything from basic design to development.
Among JavaScript frameworks such as React and Angular, Yamamoto chose Vue.js for development. He cited the reasons for this as "it is relatively easy to acquire engineers" and "it is quick to move from mocks," and explained "time-saving strategy tips" for shortening the period from requirements definition to testing.
