dvantage. Talent Days job fairs offer something that we cannot find in the online recruitment process. First of all, I appreciate the opportunity to obtain information directly from people working in a given company. Thanks to this, I received initial feedback on whether I have a chance for a given position band data
with my skills and experience and whether the company is even looking for candidates with qualifications like mine. For me, such direct interaction is crucial because it allowed me to get to know companies and their organizational culture better.

Learn how to make the most of your job fair
TALENT DAYS: You say that the fair offers something more, what do you think others can gain from participating? What advice would you have for those planning to participate in Talent Days?

Michał: Before the event, it is definitely worth doing some research and checking which companies will be present and in which industries they operate. This will make it easier for us to find out who we would like to talk to. Remember also that Talent Days is a large and popular event, so we have to be patient and expect queues to the company stands. It is a good idea to arrive at the very beginning to avoid the crowds. Before the fair, it is also worth considering your skills and interests. This will allow us to verify more quickly whether a given job offer meets our expectations. Also remember to upload a good CV to the Talent Days website to get a wristband with a code, which, after being scanned by the employer during the event, will appear directly in their system.

Recruitment and employment at Henry Meds

TALENT DAYS: What was the recruitment process like at Henry Meds from your perspective and what did the company pay special attention to?

Michał: After the job fair, I got a call pretty quickly with an invitation to the next stages of recruitment. The process itself was really a conversation about how it is to work in a given position and how it can be related to my previous experiences. It was not a classic recruitment process, where the recruiter only asks questions and the candidate only answers. Instead, they paid special attention to knowledge of English, because it is the only language used in this job.

TALENT DAYS: Apart from the fact that you work in English on a daily basis, what else can you tell us about your responsibilities?

Michał: My position is based on ensuring that all patients/clients' visits run smoothly. This requires me to pay close attention to detail, review the necessary documentation and, if necessary, contact the client to complete it. Additionally, I support other people in my department in matters related to its functioning. My duties also include answering questions from the medical team regarding scheduling and administrative issues. Recently, I have also had the pleasure of training new team members. What I value most about this job is its diversity. Every day brings new challenges and there is no room for monotony.

TALENT DAYS: You like diversity, so how is it to work with the team in your department, especially with people with different personalities?

Michał: Our company has an atmosphere of mutual help and cooperation. Colleagues from my and other teams are always ready to offer support, so no one feels lost or left alone. Every day I get challenges that allow me to develop my competences, and in turn I share ideas for improving current processes. I am glad that I am not treated like a mere cog in the machine, but as a valuable member of the team whose work is appreciated, just like others.

How to find your way in a new environment?
TALENT DAYS: Finally, could you share some advice on adapting to a new role and work environment?

Michael: First of all, remember that you don't have to be an expert in your role on your first day. Don't expect too much from yourself at the beginning. Learning the specifics of a new job takes time. Get to know your coworkers well, even if you work remotely, building relationships with the people you work with is extremely important. It helps create a positive atmosphere and makes work more enjoyable. And don't be afraid to ask questions. Although it may seem difficult at times, it's always better to ask than to make a mistake. Remember that everyone was a beginner at some point and no one expects you to know everything right away.
