Tips for you on how to be in a winning position

Post by Rrakibmmm »

TALENT DAYS: Our priority is precisely to perfectly match you with the employer and the job offer. Could you share some advice for people who are planning to participate in Talent Match?

MAJA: When it comes to btc users
Talent Match, it's the same as above - go to the interview with a lot of self-confidence and with the awareness that you meet specific needs, that you are the perfect candidate for this position. Trust me, the recruiter already knows your CV by heart anyway. You have to come to the interview and strengthen his conviction that "it's a match" and defend your strengths. And most importantly, smile a lot

Maja's job at ADC Eastern Europe - recruitment, courses, new environment
TALENT DAYS: It was this attitude that determined your success! Thanks to #PerfectMatch you got a job at ADC Eastern Europe - how was the recruitment process and what did the employer pay special attention to?

MAJA: My recruitment process is a very interesting story, which shows that even when applying for a specific position, we can end up in a different place. After talking to recruiter Basia, I had a conversation with Krzysztof, who was supposed to be my original supervisor, because he coordinated the project I was supposed to join. Krzysztof noticed my potential and redirected me to another project, in which he believed I would be able to fully develop and use my competences. That's how I ended up at another interview, with my current supervisor Adam. After just two days, I received a positive response about being hired. In my case, the employer paid great attention to the language aspect, checking my fluency in German and English. To sum up, my recruitment process went in a way that I would never have expected such a turn of events. I come to the conclusion that it's always worth being yourself, showing all your strengths and skills, because we never know if there are other, even better opportunities for work and development waiting for us.

TALENT DAYS: After all the turmoil during recruitment, tell us about your current position at ADC Eastern Europe ?

MAJA: I work as a project engineer and I am responsible for processes that happen much earlier than a given car is approved for production. I analyze component data, manage changes in a project being implemented for a company in the automotive industry, supervise the car development process and update databases. Totally what I like most about engineering!

TALENT DAYS: Before participating in Talent Match, did you complete any special training or courses that helped you get a job at ADC Eastern Europe?

MAJA: Looking back, I can say that everything I did in the last few years contributed to me getting this job – every single action of mine mattered. I didn’t prepare specifically to get this position. However, I advise anyone who sees themselves in the world of engineering in an international company – invest in learning foreign languages.

TALENT DAYS: “Every action counts” are very valuable words that young people should follow. To end our conversation, what advice could you give on adapting to a new role and work environment?

MAJA: I think it's worth being yourself, not pretending and not trying to push your limits. Believe in yourself and your skills. Know that you are good enough, just as you are - you don't have to prove anything to anyone. Often, like we take on too much just to adapt - look at it this way: you were chosen, employed and appreciated, and that means that your competences are already sufficient. All that's left is development
