2. Spot the differences
A variation on the dilemma post is the 'spot the difference post'. This gives you the same advantage of being able to show your products without it coming across as commercial. Choose a product, place two of them next to each other in an image and ask your fans what differences they can spot. It is an accessible puzzle and that works. Solving puzzles and riddles creates a positive feeling and therefore a positive association with your product.

3. Explicitly ask for a like
For beginning Facebook marketers, it can sometimes be a barrier to explicitly ask for a like or a comment. It seems a bit shouty and pushy. But my experience is that posts that explicitly ask for a like or a comment have much higher engagement rates than comparable posts that do not.

Research supports this experience: asking for a like results in 216% more interaction . Be careful not to use this type of post too often, because it can leave a pushy impression.

4. Ask an easy question
Whatever you put in your posts, always give people the opportunity to respond. You can easily do this by adding a question to your post. If you don't do this, you are essentially depriving your fans of the opportunity to respond. Try to keep the question you ask accessible. As a rule, easy questions always get more responses than difficult questions.

5. Give the 'like' button a different meaning
Switch things up! Don’t be so strict about the literal meaning of the buttons that are important for your engagement rates. A click on the ‘like’ button is an important conversion goal for a Facebook marketer. Change the meaning of this button in your post and you’ll see that you gain a whole new range of effective possibilities. Think of posts like “Like if you feel like…” and “Click like if you hope that…”.

Although you would of course like to talk about your latest product or service romania mobile phone number list on your Facebook page, your fans are most likely busy with completely different things. The madness of the day, for example. Playing into this (also think of holidays and major events) leads to much higher engagement rates nine times out of ten. So, make sure you have your content calendar in order and think about how your brand can connect to this. This way you also show that you are busy with the things that your fans are also busy with and you come across as involved.

7. True or False
A fun post type that also gives you the opportunity to start a discussion is the 'true or not true post'. Find a controversial or not controversial fact from your industry and ask your fans if it is true or not. Success guaranteed!

8. 'Finish' posts
Finally, a post type that the more creative Facebook marketer can also do a lot of fun things with: the 'finish' post. With this, you start a sentence and end it with an open section. Then you ask your fans to finish this sentence. They feel heard and you involve your fans in your brand. Keep these post types in mind when writing content and you will see that creating interaction becomes a lot easier.
