As long as the test is successful, content on Instagram today will likely be available on Facebook tomorrow. TikTok is also looking to take on YouTube with these longer videos and new view features, just like they already did with BeReal with the launch of TikTok Now. There are still some questions I could indeed go on with more examples, but all of this raises the obvious question: If all social media platforms continue to integrate features previously innovated by competitors, will we still be able to differentiate the platforms? Are there any clear benefits to using one platform over another? Will there be only one championship? Regardless, one thing is for sure: TikTok’s future is currently bright, and its new features and innovations seem worthy of attention right now.


It's too early to tell whether TikTok will retain the home owner data new horizontal full-screen feature and roll it out to everyone on the platform. So far, there's no mention of whether creators can upload videos in a single format to YouTube and TikTok. So for marketers, at least for now, it's very much a waiting game. However, given the number of people using TikTok and the heavy use of features like search and Instagram-like photo modes, it's very important for marketers to keep a close eye on the platform and where it's going.
