How does voice search work?

With voice search, the user does not type text on the keyboard, but simply pronounces it out loud. Then the speech recognition system digitizes the received sound. Google or Yandex processes the data and returns the result - a specific answer to the question.

Every voice query in Google goes through the same processing steps:

Filtering is separating the key phrase from the surrounding noise.
Digitization is the translation of sound waves into software code.
Analysis is the processing of received information.

Google collects a history of millions of voice queries from users to form a search model. The system compares all new queries to this model.

Yandex has a similar system. There is a special tool for working with voice — Speech Kit.
